BEECHAC Inc is bringing together people living with Bladder Exstrophy, Epispadias, Cloacal Exstrophy & Hypospadias and working with health professionals towards a more caring, holistic and life long health care approach.
• The conference will start with a welcome event where conference participants will have the opportunity to meet each other and our special overseas guests before the more formal proceedings of the conference. A light evening meal of finger food and refreshments will be served.
• The theme of the first day is Towards a More Holistic Approach — that is a whole of life and broader medical approach for our members. Participants will hear from researchers, health practitioners and other professionals who work with BEECH conditions. There will be a conference dinner in the evening with music and entertainment.
• The theme of the second day is Working Together— participants will discuss ways to strengthen our networks and collaborate more effectively with professionals and support organizations.
• The Children’s Program on Saturday and Sunday for young children with BEECH conditions and their siblings includes fun activities and meals. Children’s activities are also planned for the welcome event on Friday night and the conference dinner on Saturday night.
*An additional day on June 14th is being organised for specialist medical practitioners.
