  Hobsons Bay City Council have been successful in obtaining non re-current respite funding from the Department of Human Services for September school holidays. Hobsons Bay have developed a partnership with Interact Australia to facilitate the program.

• Swimmers with a Purpose - SWAP
  A swim program for people with a disability of all ages
  
  SWAP is a weekly swimming opportunity for people to develop their swimming skills under the guidance of a swim coach. The term 4, 8 week program is designed to support participants to increase skills and confidence in the water and to be a pathway for people to swim competitively.

• Wheelchair Basketball
  Are you looking for a new, fun and exciting sport?
  
  Coburg Sports Stadium is running an 8 week wheelchair basketball evening competition starting Thursday 14 October. Enter a team or as an individual. Basketball specific wheelchairs will be provided or you can bring your own. People with and without a disability are welcome. A development program is also on offer.
